I am looking for an artist who is willing to draw/create free or inexpensive cartoons for me. It is for a project I am working on and I have a low budget to work with. I thought I would reach out to my bloggy audience and see if any of you had suggestions on how to find someone that would be willing to do such a task for me. Or perhaps you know someone who is starting out and looking for projects to fill their portfolio. Either way, if you have some suggestions - I am all ears.

My sister-in-law (Dane's wife) is an artist and has done some illustrations for books before. Her name is bridget and her email address is bridgetlsmith@gmail.com. Can't promise she'll be willing to do it, but it's worth a shot! She's a sweetheart too!

A friend of mine in Corvallis is an artist, I have her drawings hanging in Leia's room, send her a message on Facebook if you're interested, she's in my friend list, her name is Heather Boren. she also is a student's wife, she I think she might appreciate what ever she can get!
