I couldn't very well let my favorite holiday pass without recognizing a few of my blessings. So without further ado, here goes:
I'm grateful for my savior Jesus Christ, for his example and ministry on earth. And I am grateful for Joseph Smith, who helped restore the gospel in the latter-days. I am who I am because of these people, because of the church, and because of its many members that have influenced me for good.
I. Love. This. Man! He is my all-in-all, the light of my life, the wind beneath my wings, my knight in shinning armor. My every love cliche you can imagine. He is my favorite.
Family.
I love them all. Dad, mom, in-laws, brothers, sister, nieces, nephews. And I'm grateful that they love me unconditionally - the bad and the good.
Friends.
For all friends, including Josette. You know what they say, you can't pick your family but you can pick your friends. I'm glad they picked me!
Running.
The way I feel during and after. The form of meditation it plays. The quietness of the early morning, before the world wakes. The confidence it gives. The pride I feel. My social hours with Jen!
I love all the girls in my ward! And I love that they love me enough to draw a picture of Wyatt and me (and my purse). And the excitement they had when they came running to me to tell me how they drew the said picture. When I get discouraged or overwhelmed about my calling, they're the ones that remind me what it's all about.
