Summer

So we're officially one month into summer - which means we are a third of the way through it. And I am panicked! I know, I still have more than half of the season to enjoy but in my mind it's basically over. I guess I am just so excited that it's here - the thought of it leaving is so depressing to me. Three months is not long enough! I haven't even gone camping! Or gone on any exciting summer vacation for that matter. Dear Summer, if you're reading this, will you please extend your stay for a few months? Please? Think "Indian Summer". I'll let you think about it...

I totally know what you mean..the summers here are not long at all..and that is the only thing about Oregon that I am not happy with. Well, your dream place is Seattle right? It is even worse there I hear.

Please...Dear Summer, please make our wish come true, and have summer stay another month or two!

Summer in theory is great, but personally I could use a little Fall about now. It's so hot I don't even want to go to the corner store to buy apples for Dan's lunch tomorrow. I'm still learning how to sweat here in NYC.
It's a tough lesson.

I feel your pain. I totally had an anxiety attack the other morning. I was lying in bed thinking about how in a few short months it will be cold, dark, and snowy! Ugh! What happened to this global warming I keep hearing about?

I love the summer, but I really love the fall. Why can't fall be one of the long seasons? I guess I'll take an Indian summer, too!

Yeah, I hear ya. Here in Seattle we've had maybe 2-3 nice days in a row...but not summer as I remember it. I hope Summer gets your letter and grants your request...Indian Summer...Indian Summer...Indian Summer...PLEASE!

I'm with you too, Britty!! At work we are starting to sell and plan for the snowplow season. It makes me really depressed. Why can't summer be the longer season? I swear winter has the monopoly on owning what feels like most of the year... I'll help you petition to Summer to please stay!!! :)
