I think this is a great picture, and a wonderful idea to showcase the huge picture archive the Nichols Family has. Dad was about as professional a photographer as you could get. His pictures of Haiti and the Yucatan Penninsula were National Geographic quality. I was always going to write the copy to accompany them.
That's always how I see Dad in my mind--more or less like he is in this picture. Just 44! Wow! The last 24 have just flown by.
I loved this blast from the past.
